Simple Search
Simple search returns the list of articles.
The search is conducted over certain summary fields that are likely to
describe the contents of the article, such as the "keywords from title
and/or abstract" or "author(s)" or "keywords from author(s) institution(s)".
You can combine the fields to formulate sophisticated query; in this case
search returns the list of articles which contain all 'entries' of your
query (Boolean search 'AND').
Simple Search instructions:
- You can search through entire Turpion journals, or choose the area or
title you wish to search (from the left column).
- Enter words or phrases ("keywords") from article's title and/or abstract:
- maximum number of words is 10;
- partial matches are allowed, the system is not case sensitive;
- specify search in the field (Title, Abstract, both);
- all 'entries' are searched regardless of their location in the text
itself. Search for the phrase "Synthesis and Basic Properties of Metal
Alkoxides" returns the list of articles containing any location of
"keywords" in title and/or abstract: e.g. "Metal Alkoxides. Basic Properties
and Synthesis"
- Enter author(s)' surname:
- maximum number of authors is 5;
- partial matches are allowed - results are returned with the closest
matches for the first letters of surname;
- surnames should be separated by space or comma;
- option All Authors (Boolean search 'AND') - results are returned with the
list of articles containing all 'entries' (co-authors);
- option Any Author (Boolean search 'OR') - results are returned with the
list of articles containing at least one of the 'entries'.
- Enter words or phrases ("keywords") from author(s)' institution(s):
- maximum number of words is 10;
- partial matches are allowed, the system is not case sensitive;
- you can enter city or faculty or department which usually compose
institution/organisation name. Search for the phrase "Moscow chemistry
department" returns the list of articles containing author(s)' institution(s)
where the 'entry' is recognised: e.g. "Department of Chemistry, Moscow State
University", "Department of Inorganic Chemistry, D.I. Mendeleev Russian
University of Chemical Technology, Moscow, Russia", etc.
