Izvestiya: Mathematics is the English edition of the Russian bimonthly
journal Izvestiya Rossiiskoi Akademii Nauk, Seriya
Matematicheskaya, founded
in 1937. Since 1995, Izvestiya:
Mathematics has been
published jointly by Turpion, the London Mathematical Society
and the Russian Academy of Sciences. The journal publishes
original research papers covering all fields of mathematics, but pays
special attention to: algebra; algebraic geometry; mathematical logic;
number theory; mathematical analysis; geometry; topology; and different equations.
