From the 1997 volumes we have been running a full text-online service. The
online version is available on our website four to six weeks before the
print version. Email alerting service, TOC, Abstracts, Author Index and Content Finder are accessible by all;
access to full-text articles is restricted to
subscribers to the 'Print + Online' and 'Online Only' options via IP
authentication.
The Turpion website in the USA (http://www.turpion.org) guarantees a quick
and reliable search across our database and further access to full-text
articles for end-users from all over the world.
Archive
A 10-year (1999–2008) backfile is available with 'Print + Online' and
'Online Only' journal subscriptions at no extra costs. Turpion has comprehensively digitized its journal
historic archive dating back to the first English translation volumes. The archive contains full-text articles
of top-level research in physics, mathematics and chemistry. Article level linking structure for the historic
archive is the same as for the current journals. Add the Turpion Journal Archive
to your library collection by buying or subscribing.
Licence Agreement
Our licence agreement (http://www.turpion.org/licen.html) supports
Interlibrary Loan requests and Course Packs in both print and digital form;
a perpetual access arrangement permits the Subscribing Institution to continue
to have access after the cancellation of a subscription to the volumes for which
subscriptions had been duly paid, for as long as practicable, or Turpion Ltd
shall supply the Subscribing Institution with archival CD-ROM containing all
the licensed material.
Online Access Details
We enable online access to full-text articles within three working days of a Subscribing Institution registering
on our website, and the library is then notified via email. It is important to pass once through online registration,
and then to access our web-based usage data reports, available directrly to library administrators. Once registered, a library
need not register again access is updated automatically upon renewal to the 'Print + Online' or 'Online Only' options.
Grace Period
We give a three-month grace period during the renewal season to continue online access to the subscribed titles.
Free Email Alerting Service
This is available at http://www.turpion.org/main/toc_notif.phtml.
Through this service, you will be notified via email when new issue of the journal is published on the Turpion website,
and receive a copy of the table of contents with hyperlinks to abstracts and citation records of the published articles. The end-user
does not need to be a subscriber to the journal to register for these services.
Content Visibility
Turpion journals are covered by the major abstracting and indexing services, including the
ISI Science Citation Index and Current Contents, INSPEC, MathSciNet,
Zentrallblatt MATH, Physics Abstracts, Chemical Abstracts, Google Scholar,
Scopus. All our journals participate in the CrossRef reference-linking service, so live links from a reference
to the cited article from other publishers are provided starting with the 2001 volumes.
Google Scholar indexes our electronic journals site, including the full-text articles. Turpion electronic journals
may be viewed by a far larger audience via the aggregators – SwetsWise Online Content, EBSCO Online,
Infotrieve, and others.
